A veterinary physiotherapist assesses and treats how an animal moves. They help with pain, stiffness and weakness, recovery from injury or surgery, neurological problems, conditioning for sport and work, and keeping older animals comfortable. Treatment can include hands-on therapy, exercises, and equipment such as laser, electrotherapy or hydrotherapy, often with a home programme you continue between sessions.
